“Now it’s the market’s, and so the user’s turn: the
inhabitant, the user of offices and of commercial spaces. They will have
totally different demands than those the architects are used to answering”
“We have to build for people. If we forget for whom we
build, we can talk about sustainability as much as we want, but it means that
every new building, after 20 to 30 years, after it has lost its luster, will be
demolished. Sustainability is in the first place thinking about how peoply can
live toghether happily in urban or rural areas.”
